    Acer 4741 dislay off problem

    Hello,

I have Acer Aspire 4741 with board 09920-3 JE40-CP MB 48.4GY02.031 machine. It works fine in battery but adapter is inserted display goes off but laptop is running and display never comes back.

I have adapter plugged in + battery inserted then display goes off after acer logo and laptop still running doesn't turn off if power not pressed.

Also same thing happens only on adapter.

I couldn't figure out, is there somebody to help?

Its very likely a bios issue and not hardware issue. Did you flashed known good bios??

Compare LVDS pins voltage under both the scenarios-when display goes off & when display is ok. You will get the clue.

Not a adapter issue in my opinion, I did checked though.
