I do have to keep pressed the keys then plug the power or in standby mode(redlight)?

I have found on when upgrading the firmware on some of the Toshiba TV's that I have to format the usb drives not using the quick format option. I found that if I used the quick option when formatting the usb flash drive it would not accept the firmware (this was when using a Windows 10 OS). Worth a try?

I also tried without quick format.. I am still waiting to find onother flash drive

Try another option (sometimes it helps), turn on the TV, as soon as the diodes flash, wait 20-30 seconds. and after that insert the usb flash into the TV, the update should go.
