win 10 no display at boot up

Help
has anyone ever had this PC boots up but the display is missing moving the mouse or pressing any key help eventually pressing power button tto switch off 3 times it will display the welcome screen once login works until screen switches off due to power save then problem re appears.

check the video cable, i had a bad cable do that once

Just out of curiosity. What is the setting in power options? Balanced, High Performance Ect. and what are the Advanced setting on the power options set too? I have had issues with Windows Upgrades and Manufacturer Upgrades that then change these settings. When the screen goes into power saving mode it stays there and cannot be retrieved. One then has to boot up the computer again to be able to see the screen. This can also happen on boot up if the screen is left for a short time without logging in. Also, a system restore will not return these setting to the original settings.
