    LG 42LG5000 - Wierd Coloration

Hello everyone, I've started doing small repairs for a bit now but this one is new for me, I have a TV with a weird coloration, I looked in the color setting of the tv but had no luck, can anyone tell me what going on in here and give me a little explanation just for me to understand what's going on for the next time it happens

I suspect the gamma IC on the tcon is faulty.

Does it have an AS15 IC on it ?
You can confirm it's faulty by measuring the voltage on its test points.

not really seeing a big difference in the 2 displays, the one on the tv just looks a little brighter.

Yes, if there is a difference in color; especially in the cat.
Apparently it's a solarization in Gamma.
What was said by the companions; almost certainly failed in the gamma chip, which may be an AS15.
