    That is the safety X cap connected to Line and Neutral. Did the blow the fuse blow?
    The power will still function without the cap, so you can remove it and see if the board will still function.
    I believe it is 0.047uf 275VAC X rating cap. I will see if I still have the board around.

      The fuse did not blow, I tested it's continuity and it's ok.
      When the monitor is powered it shows image and goes off repeatdly, at a high frequency. But later i will remove the capacitor and test it.
      If you check it, it would be awesome (just to make sure).

        I know this is an old thread, but I'm repairing one of these monitors now. Here's a photo of that capacitor C601 on the main power board for future reference. It's a 220nF 275V one
