    Toshiba L50-A

Good afternoon, I have a toshiba l50-a that doesn't consume anything at 0.000 amperage.

    I checked the Q8800 and Q8801 input mosfets and I don't have the 24v.

I removed them and measured and they are good, even so I put other compatible mosfets, the computer starts connecting the image but if you turn it off it goes back to the same.. I lose the 24v on the gate. Could the problem be with the ic charger (U8800A)?

I change the Q8800 and Q8801 again and it works until it turns off.

    can you help me please

    Re: Toshiba L50-A

It is the heat applied during mosfet soldering/desoldering thats doing the trick. Perhaps mosfet are fine. Is the charging IC located very near to these 2 mosfets?? If the location is not too near, then look for corrosion in the area/bad resistor/capss.
