    Lenovo T470 ,no backlights advice.

    Hi all

Laptops not really my thing , but here we go .

Can take signal out to a monitor & display present .

Also can see a very faint image on the laptop display .

Customer has already replaced entire display , thinking backlights had failed , but that doesn't seem to be the case .

Hoping for a protection fuse ,but could potentially be the inverter drive circuitry .

    Anyone experienced on these ?

Find the motherboard part number and look for the schematic on the forum, look for the fuses at the LVDS connector.Did the full display have another LVDS cable

Hi, what voltage do you have on pin 23 of your LCD connector?

Hi , will check , but looks like i'm now having different issue .

Seems to be cycling , as the fan start / stops .

Not sure what's going on with this unit.
