    Electronic Keyboard with exploded capacitor

    Can someone please help me with a query?
    I am trying to fix an electronic keyboard (Pitchmaster DU090463) which has a blown capacitor.
    I have armed myself with a new box of various sizes of capacitors and a soldering iron kit. BUT, the capacitor which has blown is unidentifiable due to it blowing to smithereens.
    I guessed which size it might be based on the size of the base (all that was left of it) and the other sizes of capacitors on the pcb, I guessed 220uf, but every time I replace it...boom!
    How do I figure this out??
    Thanks in advance.

    You either use capacitor with much lower voltage rating, you reverse the polarity when you are soldering it of there is other problem with the board. If it blows, stop putting new capacitors. Check the voltages on the board with multimeter and for any shorts.
    Useful conversions. I don't "speak" imperial. Please use metric, if you want to address me.
    1km=1000m=100000cm, 1inch=2.54cm, 1mile=1609.344meters, 1ft=30.48cm 1gal(US)=3.785liters, 1lb=453grams, 1oz=28.34grams

        Throw it away and give up. If you blew it more than once you didn't learn anything from the first blowup so you won't learn anything now.
