Hello!

The BIOS upgrade is wrong and the laptop won't boot.

There is currently no bios backup file.

If you have a laptop of the same model, please help with the bios file.

Model: gl62m-7rex
Motherboard: ms-16j91 (ver 1.0)

There is no file backed up due to my mistake, and it is not possible to create a dump now. So I need the original bios dump.

There was a problem with the bios chip, so I replaced it. I tried to rewrite the bios using CH341A, but it is not restored with the attached file. Did you dump it from the gl62m-7rex laptop?

gl62m-7rex It seems that there must be a file dumped directly from the laptop for recovery.

I may be wrong, someone please give me an idea

That file is downloaded from the MSI homepage. Change "*.324" to "*.bin".

I got this lap power on but no display ( internal and extaernal).
All voltages are present , PLtrst too.
I suspect bios if someone can help.
Mine is : 16J93.3h1A , i try 16J93.324 with no result...try same too (16J93.3h1A) same issue...if someone can help more...thank you

i have replaced the KB9028Q chip and write the ec provided.

model: gl62m-7rd
board model: ms-16j91 ver 1

question:?

is it true that i should put empty SiO chip and the bios chip will write the SiO automatically?
