    MacBook Air A1466 820-3209 Intermittent 3 Beeps

i got a MacBook Air 13" A1466 820-3209 the history is that the battery Swells that it bulged the top case badly surpassingly it work after battery replacement but while testing it like restart or shutdown for testing purposes i will get a intermittently 3 beeps ram issue. the bizarre thing is it will work if you SMC Reset like 2-3 times then if you shutdown for a long time or do a PRAM reset it will 3 beeps again then SMC reset it will work.

is this normal?? or someone experience this issue??

3 beeps usually indicates RAM or RAM socket failure. If you have both RAM sockets filled, try taking one out, and see if it makes a difference. This is to isolate a bad RAM stick or socket, which fails occasionally. If it fails again, swap the RAM to the other socket leaving one empty.

There's no RAM slots on a MacBook Air.

Try to reflow the RAM ICs with hot-air and a good quality flux!
I could repair 8 out of 10 Macs! (you should first practice on a spare board, since it helps to move the chips a bit when the solder is melted!)

Thanks piernov. Sorry, I confused it with the 2012 MBP. RAM reflow is the best option.
