        Re: T410 strange problem

I was just ready to write those voltages.
Ok for pin 32 when I press the power button the voltage is 2,5V and the fan is on, it stays like that for 2-3 seconds and then the fan goes off and the voltage goes 3,58V
On pin 33 the voltage is 1,7V fan on and after 2-3 seconds the fan goes off and the voltage is 3,28V
After that the voltage stays at those values and the fan is off

Jumper 5v voltage from fuse F4 to pin 1 of J15 and monitor the voltages on pin 3 of J15, and pins 32,33 and 34 of U42

It is very dificult to jumper f4 with pin1 on j15 .I already broke the one end , can I give 5 V with my bench power supply directly to pin 1?

                Re: T410 strange problem

                I have 1,5V in pin 32
                1,4V in pin 33
                and 0V in pin 34
                Fan is always on.
The problem is that it gives me the 1-3-3-1 beep error. Sometimes it starts without touching any connection just leaving it without power for a few hours. When I try it again it starts ok but the fan is not working always.

                  Re: T410 strange problem

Today the laptop works like nothing happened.
The fan spins ok and I have in pin 34 0,38V
                  Pin 32 1,88V
                  and pin 33 1,43V
Everything seems to working great and I didn't touch anything. I left it two days on my bench and put it on plug today.
If I close it now there is high possibility that it wont turn on again and just give me the 1-3-3-1 beep error ,and all this without toucing anything .

                    Re: T410 strange problem

                    UPDATE:
If I leave the laptop on and use hybernate or sleep everything works fine. If I shutdown and try to reenable it it gives me the 1-3-3-1 error code and the voltages are not correct.
Even if I give 5V to the fan it doesnt boot.
Can I inject voltage to fan control to "trick" it that the fan is ok?

fan spin is detected by FAN_FRQ signal. check voltages on R421 and q81 do u have scopeto check fan_freq signal?
