    Jvc TH-D258B No power on standby led

    Hi, Guys, I have 16v from the power board going to the audio processing board but not sure what to check after this to diagnose the problem

    Any help much appreciated

    So the how many Voltage outputs are there from the power supply board, just single 16V output?

        OK, that means the main board has the Voltage regulators, and buck converter to change the 16V to lower Voltage to run the processor.
        I see at least one switching power section where the black inductor with '150' printed on top, I would check the Voltages between the two legs of those SMD Lytics caps to see if they show any Voltages.
        You should also upload the pictures of the bottom side of the main board, there may be some linear regulator IC's on the bottom side too.

          Hi Budm thanks for your info I have 5v on both sides of the cap and I have uploaded a pic of the bottom of the main board
