Re: New Members - please post your introductions here

    Hello all,
I've just joined the forum, I found this website through google after searching for help with repairing a panasonic tv. I'm a novice who enjoys repairing the things I own as opposed to throwing them away and have been trying to understand electronics for a while now.
I'm relieved to have found a forum where questions can be asked!

Hi, I'm new to the forum, my back ground is in transformer manufacture, I'm located in Wiltshire in the United Kingdom. I have an interest in electronics, currently I have 3 psu's that have issues, one Samsung and one acbel from powermac g4 MDD, and one other Celetronix from an iMac 4,1. I hope to find insight to common faults and advice to go about repairing the above , many thanks

Hi there, people. I am here. Call me oxi1158. Oxi for short. Frustration with the lack of compliance of the material world to my desires has led me to you. I know, it's the same for all of us, we're in this together. We shall prevail. Either that, or my tv goes to the dumpster.
            Cheers!

              Hello everyone,
Wife and mother living in the sticks.
You'd be surprised at what I've had to learn to fix.
Particularly when "help" is $200 away in any direction
us. I popped in here for the Toshiba Regza firmware.
And I want to take this time to give a big thank you now for
making the information available. You folks are one of three
link's I've found. Wish me luck....😄 First time for this type of
              repair.

Well, I am 22 years old, I am from Chile, I study computer engineering and for about 10 years I have dedicated myself to programming and repairing laptops.
Currently I am dedicating myself to repair old and new computers that I have or have had and have a fault, but I am.

Several friends recommended this forum to me and apparently the more post I see, I understand that it is a great community that I would like to be part of.

                                  Hello,

I am new to the forum and fairly conversant with computers over the many years, and even worked for IBM & HP in assembling their Servers & Desktops. I have built desktop systems for many friends & relatives over the years, and taught them how to best use them for their needs.

I've got hold of this used Toshiba R50-B12P laptop, and I am hoping via this forum to learn more about it especially in ow to remove it's registered BIOS Supervisor Password if possible there is a jumper points on the board somewhere to reset it I hope! lol
