Try putting some fresh solder and try again

hi I discovered that my soldering station does not work as it should have the heat of 400 but it gives out around 250 but since I used 3 different soldering irons but apparently no one who has reached the right heat either is not safe but I will measure solder tip

Can you tell us what brand and model of soldering iron(s) you have?

For Xbox 360 board work, you really need a powerful iron (50 Watts or more) with tips that have built-in heating element. That means, you need at least a cheap T12-based soldering iron that is rated for 50W or more. If your iron uses 900M tips, forget it - those don't have good enough heat transfer or thermal capacity for motherboard use (not even the genuine Hakko stuff, IME, though they are certainly better.)

If you do get a T12 iron, you will also need some bigger chisel and/or bevel tips. The "blade" / knife tip many cheap T12 irons come with are not that great for heat transfer, so I don't suggest using the stock tip. Any 3 mm or bigger chisel or bevel tip will do fine too (i.e. BC3, C4, D4, DL32, and D52.)

I personally use a Circuit Specialists 2900 75 Watt T12 iron (which is the same thing as an Aoyue 2900) for just about any motherboard work (that means the Xbox 360 too.) I have a D52 bevel tip on mine and can remove caps easily by adding a bit of flux and fresh solder to their solder points, then wiggle/"walk" the cap out one side at a time. I also use this station with that tip to remove MOSFETs from the board directly with just the help of a second (30 Watt) regular soldering iron. No hot air involved or needed at all! And it's quicker.

So before you tackle Xbox 360 motherboards, make sure you have a powerful enough iron with a tip that has good thermal capacity and transfer. On that note, I suspect you may be able to also get away with a quality 60-80 Watt wall-type in iron (at least for removing capacitors), as long as it has a good FAT chisel/bevel tip. However, I usually caution against using such powerful wall-type irons as they tend to run very hot and can damage traces.

You got some good advice, remember that consoles tend to have pretty good heatsinking personally I tend to use a thermocouple to ensure I am at the right temp especially when things are a bit difficult. IIRC it should be ROHS lead free solder on most boards we see now a days.
