Read this topic from post 18, you probably have the same problem (status register).

            Hello,

I have a Samsung UE49MU6120KXZT that seems to have same problem depicted in previous posts.. TV seems dead, any response to any stimulus, when cpu board is disconnected, backlight goes on and power supply to the cpu board seems ok.

I read previous posts and learn about fixing of the memory chip ic1604.
It worth to try if this is the problem so I got a Xgecu programmer and dumped the memory down.

Could you kindly help me to verify and try fix the memory content?
Please find attached the bin file of the memory.
            Thankyou in advance!!!

                Re: Samsung ue49mu6120

Hello Lotas, thankyou for your response..

Only Yesterday I had the chance to try your bin.

                Unfotunately is not working.

I tried 2 time to program the EEprom, verification after programming succeded, but after soldering on the board, and turn on by the switch in the rear of the TV (I have no remote) Is not working.

Desoldering and verifying the rom content I find the content is different. Actually the memory range between 0x000000 and 0x000FFF is filled with 0xFF

I can't see what is the cause of this behavior.. maybe a cpu malfunction?

Do you have another suggestion on how could I figure out this problem?

                Thankyou for your support,

                regards

This will be the case, you need to set status register 0x88 and 0x42 after writing 25Q40, read this topic first, I wrote here in detail.

Thanks, yes, using a hex editor, I copy a part from a working dump to a non-working dump and save it.

Rather, after applying voltage, the firmware again flew off, you need to set the status of the register 0x88 and 0x42 after writing 25Q40.
