    Vizio D50u-D1 No Power Dead

Hello. I have a vizio set that was damaged when lightning struck during a thunderstorm. The fuse in the power supply still tests ok. Is it the power supply or mainboard, because I had the same problem with another vizio thinking it was the power supply but it turned out being the mainboard. The only pins I'm getting any voltage on is ON/OFF .050 and 3D_ON .038. Those are mainly pictures of the mainboard, looks like some type of corrosion or something on it. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Check the voltage "across" one of the main filter caps in the primary (C9803,04 or 05) If you have +160vdc, unplug the tv and check the resistance of R9101, If it is open, Q9101 is likely shorted.

You may want to check shopjimmy, (depending on your serial number) they have all boards plus the led strips for $59.00, without the led's $49.00
