    ATMEGA324P Eeprom reading

    Hi,

I need to ask for help.
I have an Atmel ATMEG324PA LCD controller.
I want to read the contents of this into a .rom file.
What kind of eprom reader would be good for it?
    I could borrow a Pickit v3 and a RT809F reader with PEB-1 from a friend of mine.
Are these good for it? Unfortunately, I did not find an exact compatibility list for any of the readers.
Does anyone have experience with this?

Thanks in advance for the reply

    software should be AVRdude
    https://www.nongnu.org/avrdude/

hardware, you can use a lot but i like USBasp - only $2 on ebay

but only if the chip has not had its security bits set.
