    Xbox classic/original 10v 3300uf Polymer replacement?

    Hi all,

For polymodding an original Xbox i'm looking for polymer replacements of the following capacitor:

    2x 10v 3300uf Nichicon PW
One is on the left side of the board, the other one on the right as you can see the picture i linked below (the two big brown caps).

Could i just use 2200uf polymers to replace them or do i really need the capacitance?

I have searched the forum already but could not find an answer for it.

    Thanks.

use 5x 1500uf polymers and fill the 2 unused spaces.

the pcb was designed for 5x 1500uf or 1800uf caps

I think you are talking about the black HM caps closer to the heatsink? That's exactly what i already did.

But my question was about the brown ones in the bottom left, and bottom right corner that i can't replace with 5 caps.. since i don't think this is for the CPU i'm not sure i could use 2200uf polymer replacements
