Hi, I have an LG 42LA620V had a backlight issue, when powered on the logo flashed up briefly then screen goes off, sound present. So replaced the LED strips at fault, backlights come on as they should, so put it all back together, and now it has another fault! When turn it on now screen lights up but ..... pics attached

interesting. since you have no inputs, the main board would most likely be the issue.
i was actually concerned as to if you may of damaged the panel during your previous repair attempt. hoping it isn't multiple issues.WHY CAN'T PHILIPS USE PHILLIPS HEAD SCREWS?

one time friend of me tried to change defect LED on same brand 55LA6208, before he replace the LED he told that LG Logo flashing at first start complete with color too, and after he replaced was the issue much like to you.. the first things i went to check for him the ribbon cable, and exact was one the pins Brocken and make short contact. this old TV because of heat the ribbon cable pins easy getting out from its place. also check them under magnifier from both sides
