Hi sir, that's the only backup file I have. I already performed reset on the chip. Sorry, I'm totally a newbie here, please help.

I have a downloaded bios from the acer website, but the file is in .exe. I tried extracting it and used the bin file but it's not working. Can you help me find the right bios file?

Your original file should be 16 MB or 16,384 KB in size. I have extracted a bios from the update, it does not have your DMI, that is the region where model, windows keys serial numbers are kept. Try it now, or wait until lapfix gives you a better solution.

Acer Aspire A514-54-36ZW BIOS

I need help in recovering my laptop Acer Aspire A514-54-36ZW. Issue before was power loop (on and off for 2-3 seconds blank screen).
After trying to erase the BIOS, the loop disappears and it's totally dead. Power LED is working if I attached the battery but when battery is removed. Power LED is dead. I checked the board, it says FH5AT LA K091P REV. 2.0. I also the check the BIOS chip it says:
QH128AH1G
PPB49600 04
2041C
Hope it is the right chip.

Tried using the EZP2019 programmer but chip cannot be detected.

1. I need help in finding the right BIOS firmware.
2. How to properly place the programmer socket.

I'm totally a newbie here. Thank you in advance guys, appreciate all your help.
