Whoops, I forgot we were not talking about el-cheapo psu's with undersized caps here.

I actually just took apart a sploded hipro today for parts, and the 16v caps were all 3300uf. Immediately thought of this thread.

looks a lot like a "eagle" that a customer brought in with his new i7 build that would not post.gutless wonder.a real 300w hipro from a dell ran the i7 just fine.

Can't say for sure, but it does look goofy with that fake UL like 370forlife noted. Only pictures of the inside will tell how good it is.

I also just noticed that sticker says it has "over-power" and "overload" protection. Technically, wouldn't those terms mean the same thing?
One thing that is certaily true on the sticker is the text that says Made in China.

But on the positive side, you get a PSU case with a 120mm fan. Means if the power supply is crap, you can put a nice power supply in there and take advantage of the 120mm fan .

ya, UL's symbol is a backwards R with a U. The number underneath it is Antec's UL number:

Put ul number in (in this case e176105) and it shows you who it is manufactured by, in this case antec, but really seasonic.

Go on newegg, any reputable psu has the backwards RU symbol with the UL number underneath.

Guy is clueless, a decent PSU have required stuff. This PSU I don't feel right about.

They don't check these PSU by research. They simply buy at specific price and resell at any price.
