After updating BIOS to:

HP EliteDesk 800 G2 TWR/SFF
02.42 Rev.A 17.2 MB 12. sep 2019

It finished flashing and rebooted - Does not POST at all.

- Tried trick with Win key + B and power to recover.
- Tried remove CMOS battery
- Tried pressing CMOS button for 10 seconds

Nothing of these helps.

When taking power and draining remaining power, and then applying power again it do the following:

RED power light and beeps 2 long and 4 short.


By the way, the bin file is 9 MB in size.

I have the same problem. It stopped beeping all together yesterday but then I was able to flash the latest bios on it today and it ended doing the 2 red lights and 4 white lights with the beeps again after it was flashed but Im back to the start. Now it doesnt beep anymore and the fans spins very fast with no post.

Im thinking that it could be the EC controller.

I think this is the ec controller bios. I dont see any other bios chip.

fan speed normal
i dowload toomuch file vinafix bad caps but fan speed fast
i attach old file if u r help for build

I have the same problem, fan speed up, processor dont heat up, and i try some different bios and EC bios, even changing the IC, so i guess isnt a bios problem.
