Hanns G HG281D 28" Monitor Video Problem Any Ideas??

Hello I have a Hanns G HG281D monitor that stopped working for me , the monitor show a great picture when it comes on , but after 2 or 3 second the video cut off, and the power light stays on with no video display.
After doing some research I found that many people were having the same problem and advised me to change the caps. I ordered a Kit and replaced all of the caps on the power supply board but I'm Still having the same problem. Does anyone has any ideas on were to start looking next?

Did you replace at least the two caps for the Voltage regulators on the main board?
Just do the search on BC for HG281.

I read somewhere that if you decrease brightness the problem will be solved.
but think what, brightness is stuck at maxmum (100) and contrast at 70. Whenever I try to reduce them they go 2 or 3 steps down then they jump back to original values. any ideas on what I can do

Try replacing those caps for the regulator ic's on the logic board.

only those two or enrire caps. I ask that because when I connect vga cable it takes shorter time for display to disappear than when I use hdmi cable. Also I would like to know which part has failed that make the monitor not to operate for long at maximum brightness. i will appreciate

I would replace just those two caps first.
If it is my monitor I would replace the power supply caps (there are listing some where on B.C. for the caps used in the power supply) and those two caps on the main board.

I have checked the power supply and they look healthy. And to be currious what purpose do those two serve. I was thinking of replacing the inverter board caps. Is it a good idea? Is there certain brand which work best?

Bad cap can look normal, you need to actually check the capacitance and ESR.
Those two caps on the main board are filter cap for the LDO regulator IC's and they will look just fine too.

I first changed those two caps on logic board and alas,I was able to adjust brightness and contrast. Then I changed four caps on power supply board two rated 1000microfarads/35volts and two rated 680microfarads/25volts. So far so good it worked. Thanks R J and budm for your support. God bless

Partial lockdown caused my hanns g monitor to stay idle for 3 months. When I powered it I realize that the screen has divided itself in 3 parts horizontally. Bottom part is black, middle part is white and top part you can see image. What could be the cause?
