      Re: Sony VPCF24L1E schematic

The reason for the request for schematics is in the pictures.
Somebody tried to fix this board, but I do not know the exact position/connection of those C's or how it suppose to be.
Can somebody shed some light on this problem?
The schematics seems to be unavailable and the suggested alternative to use the MBX-215 schematics does not apply, since the numbers don't excist there.

Any help would be highly appreciated

usually smd caps don't have polarity.

once I try to switch and it work.

but I had a dv6000 that matter but I did not knew the correct value cuz I did not have a proper meter for capacity.

clean the spot(take them out) and see where each one go.

it cant be 2 caps on once side(rail)

          the board suffer liquid dmg.

that spot its under the mouse pad ... think and something when I short and it blew up the caps.

ok waste some time and find where the dc jack goes .

even without schematic we can trace some symptoms

Cleaned the spot and this is what shows. It look the were exploded before.
I can not check the correct way of the traces without the schematics.
The 2 capacitors looked to have been in parallel position or there were traces to a next layer.

looks like one big trace with parallel capacitors. so little soldering and with new capacitors it will be good. but what happen to this capacitor to blow is other thing

Given the first pictures, it was already corrected by somebody, but the second capacitor misses a contact.

DJ-ricoh saw it correct, I have found moisture residu around the touchpad buttons and the right switch, I completely opened to clean out like half dry coke. After that he works fine again. For the rest is the laptop completely dead.
The 19V is on the connector of the mobo and when you switch him on, the voltage does not drop, so no shortcut

                    nice!
now with continuity setting on the meter trace back the dc jack until you find the charging ic or at least the gate or find the qfn chips and we can find some schematics and see what voltage are you missing.

                        this is it!

ok plug the charger and post values without battery and battery.

                          OK, thanks.
The values are the same with or without the battery.
I can not see if the laptop is on or off, since he dead.
Tried the switch but no difference in values

test the fets near the dc plug.

make some macro pics and see why there is no gate to those fets cuz the ic indicates there is no value to open the gates.
                            ic or fets broken?

                            can you inject voltage?(general Q)

Fets Q1 and Q2 measure the same.
                              pin 1,2,3, = 19,6V
                              pin 5,6,7,8 = 19,6V
                              Pin 4 = 13,33V

I think so, I have different power supplies

what does it do now? the notebook?
                                  no power? no display?

we need to find where is 3.3 and 5 v generated.
find other chips so we can find the datasheet cuz there is no schematic for this piss of %$£" motherboard.
not only qfn; all of them
