Re: Capacitors for DC smoothing, Low-ESR or not Low-ESR?

Well it worked great after reflash\reset for about a week, then did the same thing again.

I got pissed off and now I'm using the Thomson instead (after Telecom told me the only way to change gateway IP was to save the config file, manually edit it and load it back in - buggy interface is a piece of crap and refuses to accept the IP addresses stating they are invalid)

BUT even so, the Thomson still won't connect properly sometimes either.... Though its capacitors aren't bulging, and it has a lot more of them and a much beefier Vreg circuit overall than the Dynalink.

What's interesting is that both use the Broadcom BCM6338 chipset - incompatibility problem with new ADSL cabinet?

New capacitors in the Dynalink are 'Too good' ? Signal level is 'too high' and new ADSL cabinet which is only 200 metres away is overloading the signal? Damned if I know.

    Anyone got any better ideas?
