    1.6AL 250V Fuse Alternative

    My bosch charger stopped working and i found this blown fuse inside

    I was wondering which fuse i could use that radio shack might have

    You've got bigger problems than the fuse, like shorted power semis.

    Hint- they don't die, they're "murdered."

      How did come to that conclusion

      I thought fuses are used to prevent damage to critical components

        If the circuit is drawing too much current due to failed components then before putting in the new fuse and causes more damages you should at least check out the circuit first or you can take a chance and install a new fuse.

          No, the most critical (and expensive) components are there to protect fuses.

          Sometimes a fuse will protect other parts that haven't blown, sometimes not.
          Fuses are mostly there to try to stop everything going up in flames when really bad things happen.
