Honeywell 42 watt having on/off issues under over hang solved

I bought several of these lights and the other two work fine but the one under the over hang would turn on/off issues because of the light bouncing around on the metal ceiling

I first tried moving the photo diode but it would not turn off the light for some reason so I just made the power wires longer to the LED panel and this solution worked

It reminds me of the (Harvard?) university project where the students put the streetlight sensor at the base of the poles and made a mega blinky.
