Bought this board one day ago, after inserting memory, mobo shows post code d5, without memory - d3, at some point after changing memory slot it showed me post code 66 or bb(idk didn't found any info on this one, bios is AMI on this board btw), but then moved back to d5, what could be a problem, I cleaned dram slots(didn't helped), changed ram, maybe a bios problem, but if it is, then rip, as programmer costs 20$(big money tbh for me), bought this one into my collection of rare boards(which has only one board except for this one - Asus Commando that needs big rework and have parts missing).
Thank you to the guys at HEGE supporting Badcaps [ HEGE ] [ HEGE DEX Chart ]

Re: AsRock K8Upgrade-VM800 D5 Post-code
It has a socketed BIOS according to what is shown on Asrock website so as long as you know someone that has a programmer it is easy enough.
But first step first are you sure you are using a supported CPU for testing and memory that should be compatible, and also works in another PC?"The one who says it cannot be done should never interrupt the one who is doing it."
