Are these output caps supposed to be shorted on a Zotac 1050 ti

    HI guys
Am currently troubleshooting this zotac 1050 ti , I' ve noticed that the output capacitor are shorted none of the mosfet seems to be shorted supposing i tested them correctly am new to gpu mobo repair
    thanx in advance

They should not be shorted, but these are presumably on the core vrm - so you will measure the core resistance on here, which is likely <1Ω

      Thanx bozog for the reply
The vcore resistance are 1k ohm or just 1ohm?
If it is 1ohm it means that the beeping from my multimetre diode mode is normal, i should test the resistance in ohm mode.
I tested the mosfets in circuit , but only the gates in relation to the source not from source to drain or vice versa.

Yes just 1 ohm, probably less than 1 ohm

You would see a short on one of the 12v rails if these mosfets were shorted, normally the gate will be shorted too, which you have checked anyway.

          Ok
So 1ohm or less should measure in vcore .
and i ll check the 12v rail
but you know the graphic card gives a picture somtimes with fans not turning but once turned off ,it dosn't power anymore .
