    ASUS PH-GTX1050-2G - not detected

Hi all, looking for some help trouble shooting an ASUS PH-GTX1050-2G. CG210L REV. 1.00. 08003-10400X00

The card gets power and doesn't appear to be shorted anywhere. I measured the test points for MEM, PEX_VDD, 5V, 12V, GPU, 1.8V 3.3V and all appear to be correct. The only visible issue I see on the back side of the card is R558 appears to be missing from looking at the pads.

Any idea what value R558 may be? Any help would be appreciated.

    Thank you.

As all your voltages seem to be present, check all the tiny little capacitors just along the edge of the PCIe connector (possibly they are on both sides of the board)

If any are broken / missing that would likely cause the GPU not to detect.

Also consider reprogramming the GPU BIOS chip

An outside chance but strange things are possible- your Motherboard or Motherboard BIOS revision or some BIOS OC setting is not compatible with the GPU?

Hi Caspar where did you get the value for R558? Do you know which area of the circuit this resistor is?

        Thanks

I would know where did you find the value too, I have the same GPU with more than 10 components knocked off and I would like to repair it, but I don't know any value
