Hello,
I have a retro laptop in which I have replaced entire upper body as damaged were CCFLs, new screen is the bigger version (15" vs. 14.1"). The laptop now has trouble going beyond POST screen or even staying in BIOS, it seems like it entirely cuts off power (as in videos). Earlier, it sometimes booted into Windows, but smallest load would shut it down, also Aida reported CPU temperature as 2 degrees celsius. In the schematics I can see LCDID1 line that differ when changing LCDs, but going back to the damaged screen doesn't change anything. I will be grateful for any tips as I don't know where to even start.
