JVC LT-55K880 Boot problem - Firmware needed

    Hello to everybody
I own a JVC LT-55K880 mady by Vestel, which recently started crashing exactly after boot logo (stucks at a specific channel and no button responds anymore).
The main board is 17MB130S and the panel is VES550QNDL-2D-N11.
Unfortunately I can't find any appropriate firmware to flash it.
The only compatible dump I found was at this forum, in which I could't register (maybe) because of server fault.
Could you please help me either with providing a working firmware or with access to the amwajsat forum so I can download the files?
Your help will be much appreciated once again.
    Thank you in advance
    Stavros

If you have access to an EEPROM reader/writer such as the cheap CH341A it may be worth your while reading the EEPROM and then re-writing it back.
Willing to help but I'm no expert.

Thank you very much for your reply.
I have an RT809H programmer, so I uploaded a working file I just found in an other forum but with no success.
The tv keeps freezing seconds after the boot logo, so probably there is a problem with the NAND. Does anyone have the file for the NAND maybe?

          What should I delete?
          The contents of the NAND?

Finally I managed to fix the tv for those still interested.
Download and unzip files from this link https://www.dosyaupload.com/kxMK into an empty usb stick, formatted as FAT32.
Put the stick on the tv and plug the tv on the mains while holding the "ok" button of the remote.
After you notice the led blinking quickly, release the ok button, and it's a matter of 2 minutes or 3 to boot the new firmware and be back to life.
The only drawback is that this firmware is for vestel, so if you have an other variant e.g. JVC (like me), you will need a new remote.
                Enjoy!
P.S. especially thanks to @yokoono from https://tavsiyeforumu.com/ for the firmware

if you edit hardware profile from vestel to JVC will not work!!?
you have the JVC SPI dump.. why dont write it back !!

I just programmed the spi with the original file that came with the tv, but unfortunatelly the original remote responded only till the tv boot.
Then the tv responded only with the vestel remote.
Any ideas? Maybe I did something wrong?

try log in service menu and from there do hard reset.. or from there download the all profile within USB operation. zip them and upload over here

BTW: as you owned vestel remote , i would suggest you stay with vestel brand as its better than JVC.. i thought you dont have remote..

                          for education Only : LOL
if you read the file usb_auto_update_G10.txt , at the end you have
                          Code:
#Force Mboot to update environment after update
                          setenv sync_environment 1
                          saveenv
so the SPI will do the job for us as brand type, this why no need to let the script update the SPI by
comment # the part of Mboot to force it not to update the SPI
                          Code:
#For pure RomBoot.bin (include mboot.bin) upgrade, use below part
                          fatload usb 0:1 0x24000000 mb130_RomBoot_AMZ.bin;
                          ncishash 0x24000000 0x24010000 0x24020000 0x24030000 0x3800 0x24033800 0x200000
                          to
                          Code:
#For pure RomBoot.bin (include mboot.bin) upgrade, use below part
                          #fatload usb 0:1 0x24000000 mb130_RomBoot_AMZ.bin;
                          #ncishash 0x24000000 0x24010000 0x24020000 0x24030000 0x3800 0x24033800 0x200000
the end result will be Mboot update environment on NAND

Thank you very much for the info @Diah. 2 days after my last message, the supplier asked me for the serial at the back of the tv, and then they sent me the correct firmware which worked like a charm. Thank you again for then info and your help.

If it is too big to attach then you could always split it into smaller chunks using Wizip or similar tool.
