Keep in mind I am not advocating this. I already got too many $59 TVs. Your on your own, sounds fishy to me.

            A 65" Hisense is even worth $17.50?

Hisense Roku 58R6E3 has back and audio, no image
                by ratslap
                Hi all,

The television screen is black but it is back lit. flashlight test doesn't yield any results as the screen is lit. the television just repeats a message about enabling or disabling the screen reader feature.

first thing tested was unplugging the screen cables that lead to the tcon. when I unplug the right cable the screen shows half black on the left and white on the right. but when i unplug the the left tcon cable the entire screen remains black. From my understanding this indicates a screen panel problem. I have had previous success with covering some of the...

Can I Swap Screens Between Two Hisense 75” QLED TVs?
                by ShahZaib Ghumman
                Hey folks,

I'm not a professional, but I do have a decent amount of knowledge when it comes to electronic repairs.

A friend of mine recently bought a brand new Hisense 75” 4K QLED Smart TV (75E7NQTUK) but unfortunately, he cracked the screen just a few days later. Luckily, he had insurance and got a replacement right away but weirdly enough, the insurance company never asked for the broken unit back.

So, I took it off his hands and figured I'd try to repair it myself rather than see it go to waste. I've been searching for a replacement screen but can't...

Hisense stuck in Colors cycle like test pattern.
                by nono34
                Hello,

I accidentally changed the project ID in the service menu of my Vidaa Hisense 100U7KQ TV. When I turn on the TV, the screen displays an RGB color cycle (test mode???). I contacted Hisense, and they sent me a usb_MTK_9618.EU.bin file, but it doesn't work. I can see that the USB drive is being read, and it flashes for about 10 minutes (the screen remains in the color cycle during the firmware reading), then the TV turns off and restarts, but still in the color cycle mode.

I want to mention that the 4GB USB is formatted in FAT32 MBR. I've also renamed the file to...

What 'class' is this Hill Audio DX3000 Amplifier?
                by dicky96
Hi guys, this is general query really

So I have a Hill DX3000 3KW audio amplifier here.

It has a topology/design like a class A/B but all the banks of output transistors (10 transistors in each 'side' of the channel) are NPN.

I was wondering what class this is. It doesn't fit the description of class A.
It also doesn't match class A/B or B amplifiers as all the examples I see have a complimentary output stage desigs (NPN/PNP) and clearly is not G, H or D

I looked for 'class A push pull' but that didn't tell me anything either
