I've got this currently, never used flux before. will it do?

i looking at this drag solder with an iron https://youtu.be/Fwx_qzfwdgk he calls it soldering paste but it looks like flux paste to me... maybe I'm wrong?

Does it shows the correct wattage of adapter in bios setup screen?? If no,then your problem is PS_ID circuit.

Next measure voltage on PU4301/PQ4410 for Pin 1/4/8.

All the measurements should be without battery,only adapter connected.

Voltage on PL4401 also.

Report back and then we decide and may opt for resistance check and some voltage measurements on charging ic PU4401.

i measured the PL4401 again tonight and it seemed to pulse between 0mv and 30mv.. not sure if i'm getting some interference or if that is expected... where in the schematic should I be able to read the expected voltage of these pins?
