Hey,
Wondering if anyone can help me figure this out. I am trying to repair a small 12v 1A power supply. When I was "messing" with it I inadvertantly blew the fuse on the input. The supply states its:
120v/.45A Input
12v/1A Output
After I removed the fuse it looks more like a resistor but apparently its a fusable resistor??
Please see the pics.
2 pics of the device
1 pic of where the device sits on the PCB, its first inline from the AC neutral
To me its looks like the color codes are:
White, Brown, Brown, Black, Green = 911 Ohms
The body is grey which I found to mean its fire/flame resistant.
From the research I have done so far 911 Ohms doesnt even look like an option for a fusable resistor but really I don't know.
Anyone have any ideas where to find a replacement or what should I use as a replacement?
Thanks for any help.
