Projector Epson EH-TW570 not Warming Up

    Hello,

I have a video projector Epson EH-TW570 that isn't displaying anything. It does power up but the Status LED is alwyas blinking. In the troubleshooting section of the user manual, this means that the projector is warming up. But unfortunately the lamp stays off so the projector can't be warm. The ballast as benn replaced and the previous owner says he replaced the lamp.

I have found the service manual but it does'nt show the schematics or any testing procedures.

I hope someone can help me with this

    Edit :

I've already replaced the two temp sensor with 6k7 resistor but no luck.

Here is the voltages from the power supply connector on the ballast.

    14,3 V
    14,3 V
    -3,16 V
    3,16 V
    0,414 V

The Temp light isn't blinking, only the status light

you need to tell more.. what will happen if you first time plug it at wall socket.. do you have any fan turn on ? or its silent with just status blinking ?

BTW did you check the ballast regulators ICs ??

When I plug the AC cord, the Power button lights up, then when I press the power button, all the fans turns on and the status LED is blinking.

I did not checked the ballast IC bacause I replaced the ballst. But I will check them

Yes exactly, I saw in the service manual that there is an "After Service Menu" that contain all the errors codes, but since there is no picture I can't view these error codes. Do you think there is a way to access the eeprom to be able to read these codes ?

would be helpful if you upload very clear photos for the main boards from both sides.

Start checking all SMT FB parts specially on the downside close to EX FAN and SCI.. this boards had so many fuses need first to go over them.. then back to boot.

My bad, the voltages are from the power board and not hte ballast, I'll try to take the voltages from the ballast.

okay our thought was the boot.. so we have now when you plug it first time at wall socket power LED goes Red as standby. after pressing power the status blinking red and keep blinking..

let trick it by make error.. to see the error section at boot will remark them and give asign or not..such..
1- disconnect main FAN socket and try
2-remove the lamp ( but put back the door )
3- while its on standby.. if you press power on RC it response ? in case yes.. then press freez keep pressing and power it on from the panel switch.. same do it by pressing the menu on RC
