The supply is a BN44-00782A.
Was told there was a "popping noise" and the set went dead. Upon inspection there was a split ceramic cap C814, a failed mosfet, either Q801 or Q802 I pulled and am replacing as a pair and of course the main fuse.
I replaced the cap marked 221 1kv with a 221 2kv (which I think will be fine?) and will be getting the other parts today. The switching diodes at D801 and D802 look and test good but the ferrite beads at BB801 and BB802 appear to have taken much current and are discoloured though still test as a short.
Do the properties of these beads change with heat/overcurrent such that they've become discoloured or are they fine ? I have no schematic and no way to measure them so can't replace with like for like.
