Any decent, but poorly equipped displays?

What I mean is, with the abundance of cheap displays out there, and their extremely low price compared to the premium manufacturers, I can't bring myself to even buy a new LCD display because my trusty old 20" SGI monitor is still kicking. However, if there is a cheap LCD out there by someone like AOC or LG or whoever, that would be good if you bought it and immediately recapped it, then I would rather do that. I'm not afraid of taking my equipment apart, but if they are going to fail after warranty due to something other than caps, then I might be worried.

    Any ideas?

I've had good luck with Viewsonics only needing caps to be fine again.

I second that. My main unit is a Viewsonic that only had to get Rubycons in and Elites out.
