TOSHIBA REGZA 37RV555D no pic

Hello,
I have a friend that have TOSHIBA REGZA 37RV555D with no pic but have sound that want to sell his TV. i need any ideas from the pro's here that might know what is the prob in this TV or just say if it can B fix?

can you test the display with a flashlight? if you see image that means that the lcd/tcon is ok and you have to bring the backlight.

Can you see the screen glow in the dark room? we need to find out if you have backlights or T-CON board problem.
