Re: Need help with ASRock AB350m
I doubt you will find a full-blown schematic - at least I never bother as it's more effort than just "getting on" with the board and testing components.
Regarding the issue: by not turn ON, what do you mean exactly? Nothing happens when you press the power button or do the fans in the PC twitch for a second and PSU go into short-circuit protection?

by EximHi guys,
I managed to semi-kill an ASRock N100M board after updating Bios from 1.10 to 2.01. It's a zombie now, dead, but not dead.
ASRock N100M special features:
- CPU soldered to board, small Intel 12th gen
- iGPU
- four POST LEDs
Problem after updating Bios to 2.01 using the in-Bios update tool: no picture, no boot.
I am not sure anymore if it booted at least once successfully after updating the bios to 2.01, maybe not, I can't remember. I think it did not.
Symptoms:
- no picture/signal on any of the display connectors,...2 Photos -
by zklgfsHi,
I have an AsRock B560 Pro4 (boardview: https://www.badcaps.net/forum/troubl...pro4-schematic) that's completely dead (it doesn't even turn on the power supply when the power button is pressed or the power button pins are shorted). I do get about 3.4V on the power button pin, but 1.8VSB isn't there. The resistance to ground on the inductor PL53 is only about 0.1-0.4 Ohms. Am I correct in assuming that there must be a short... -
by dragon3xHi, I have some 32 bits computer motherboards that need repair, as they fail to
power on.
Here are some examples :
(N.B. "capacitors" indicated here are electrolytic capacitors located in the onboard
switching supply area).
(N.B. #2 : I could not find a 3300 microF aluminum-polymer with a higher voltage
than 6.3 V.)
1 - Motherboard #1 : this is an Asrock K7VT2 (socket A) that still works well. To put it on test
I replaced capacitors with aluminum-polymer.

by MasterCapI have an AsRock Taichi 7900xtx, and the minimum fan speed is way too high at 1000rpm, and thats with it's Quiet BIOS switch on, and me setting the fan profile as low as it goes, while on.
Now 1 thing I could do is just make some circuit to put in between the fan the the GPU, and leave the fan on all the time, but anytime the GPU is sending the PWM for min speed, I'll just send something lower and quieter.
But does anyone know what how AsRock usually sends the PWM to the fans on GPUs and mobo's? Is it from the MCU that's often near the 12V inputs and fan jack ? Or is... -
by spintopHi, need help here.
Asrock B365 Pro4 motherboard can turn on, cpu fan spinning, graphics card fan spinning, but no display, black screen.
No shorted mosfet found and no visible faulty capacitor, board looks ok. Bios chip is desoldered, read using CH341.
