    VIZIO E50-C1 Backlight Driver circuit

Hello Everybody, I have a good one. I got this TV a couple weeks ago and it had about 80% of the LED strips burnt out, So I ordered a replacement set of strips and installed them. This tv's backlight array will stay on even with several burnt led strips, I found that odd. Anyways I get this tv back today with 2 strips not burning and one strip dimmer than the rest. I smell something burning and it turns out those little chips in a circle around the little square controller chip, there are 6 of them, two of the six are so hot I burnt my finger. the numbers on the chips are top row 4892 and under that is GA4Y2C. I typed those into google and EBAY and nothing comes back on the search query... I didn't get the chance to do any voltage testing, it all happened so fastand I dont want to turn the set back on causing further damage. I want to replace those chips, but I can't find out what they are.

    Those are MOSFET AO4892.
They are PWM Controlled for maintaining constant current through the LED's. If you have some shorted out LED's then the MOSFET will get hot.
    I do not understand this:

Are you saying after replacing the all the LED strips and now some of them do not light up? But picture #1 show all LED strips are on.

Hi budm, I took that picture of the led strips when I first installed the replacement led strips. The second led strip from the top on the left was slightly dimmer than the rest... When I took the panel out this time that dim strip is now barely lit and skip two other strips below it s and the next one is burnt out... I visually inspected the harness and can't find a problem. The plugs at the led strips are so small I can't meter that end of the cable. I'm new to all this led crap. I've been gone from this tv repair scene for about 5 years, I've got some catching up to do!!! The dim strip is dim when I plug another strip in that harness, so there is nothing wrong with the dim strip.
