    Update win 10 versions update?

    Hi guys i notice on my old PC win 10 update version 2004 had issues so i reverted to version 1909.now i don't want win to auto update any higher than that ,so i found this ;

    do you guys use it and is it wise to disable updates ?

    2004 is an optional update.

        I would. I always ride the 'trailing edge' for updates....and let them hose other people's systems first....once deemed safe, I apply them manually.

        FWIW, if you don't want WU to update to the latest build, in GPEDIT, nav to Administrative Templates - Windows Components - Windows update; then enable "Turn off the upgrade to latest version of Windows through Windows Update". This enabled will only allow updates for your current build, and not upgrade it to the latest.

            in the search box, type gpedit.msc
