I have a sharp lc-43n4000u set that was struck by lightning surge. How do I start diagnosing the problem? Just repaired a Samsung 65 inch with the same problem. Replaced main board and it works fine. I tried the same procedure with unplugging the main board and plugged the set in but it did not power the backlights up. Where do I start?

Start by providing good clear pictures of the backside of the TV showing all the boards so we can see what we are dealing with.Never stop learning
