I have an old HP Scanjet 4 with the expensive Auto Document Feeder option. I got the scanner working in WinXP with an Adaptec SCSI card.
Problem is, The male DIN plug for the ADF is broken. I can replace it, but I don't know which wire goes to which pin. Does anyone know the pinout of the ADF connector on the back of the scanner so I can trace the wires on the ADF?
I also have a couple UMAX (such as a Super Vista S-12) scanners, but for some reason Windows detects 8 of them when only one is connected, and it doesn't work. Same goes for the Sceptre/Kinpo S120. The HP worked perfectly as soon as I plugged it in.
