    Grundig Vision 7 42-7975 - menu pin

I have one old Grundig tv which is working...but it have placed 4 digit pin for chanel scanning and some other settings.
I don`t remeber pin any more so I can`t make any settings on tv.

Does anybody know how to baypass or remove pin so I don`t have to write down 9999 or so 4 digit pin combinations to find out which one is it,
I tried about 1500 so far...it is very boring and time consuming...

      maybe try: start menu-storage & reset-factory data reset-confirm it-erase everything.

if nothing works, I believe you can contact them and they will give you an over-ride code to put in.

          It was 2356, thanks.
Without code you can`t do factory reset.

          Thanks again.

In the input list there is no "cable" so it can`t be scaned for programs over the cable from provider.
              Softvare is SSUGR.FHD.CIP.R128M.V02.T21.
Is there any new software for this tv with "cable" included?

I did`n install software, just made adjustment in factory menu Option0 from "DVB Type" to "DVB-T + DVB-C", then made factory reset and I can scan chanels over cable.
Chanels are there but all of them are stalling and like that can`t be wached.

                          tuner might have gone bad.

did the channels stay in memory, meaning if you turn it off wait a bit turn it back on the channels are still there?

Channels are played for 1-2 second then picture freezes for about 10-15 second or longer, then working agaain 1-2 sec and so on.
All channels stays in memory, and over HDMI like over USB working fine.
In factory menu I can`t open Option3 (don`t know what is in there).

wonder if a service remote would help fix it.
