Toshiba Satellite C50-A-153 maybe wrong bios

    Hi there!

    Toshiba Satellite C50-A-153 ( PSCG7E - 00P01CDU )

    Motherboard; with Intel i3 processor

    PT10F Hann Star
    REV: 2.1
    MV-4 E89382

The first problem was a little bit water damage at a 4k7 resistor bank. I replaced the resistor bank for 4 normal resistors with same ohms
Cleaned the whole board with terpentine so all moisture goes away
Also the bios was faulty, it did not start

I used the PT_10F_10FG_BIOS_UPDATE_V110 found on this forum

Sometimes it only showed power led on when press power. and later the led around the power button starts to light up.
    With battery it won't work
And when working; the clock was not running in the bios setup
The main problem is that it shuts down completely all power off after 35 minutes. Everytime 35 minutes +/-

Was looking in windows system logfiles and its telling this; (translated from dutch)
-The number of active batterys has changed (Kernel power)
-The local adapter doesnt support a critical low energy controllerstatus wich the hardware supports (BTHUSB)
-The system was suddenly shutdown because the system did not responded anymore and the system is reset by the hardware watchdog (kernel power)
-(1second before above) The security timer from the system is turned on (HAL)

          hi
i tried your bios but it is still shutting off after 30-40mins

oh well something new was happening it suddenly detected the acpi system and installed in device manager

with battery installed the screen stays blank. charger led goes on

also the numlock button is not working, only with usb keyboard, this was also with previous bios

Pfff I checked the chipset and yes it is the the Hm70

I forgot to tell that I had also replaced the cpu for a better one, not expecting that this could be a problem
Only 1 thing left... Why no screen on battery power ?

With HM70 you can only use Celeron/Pentium unfortunately.
                Did you try another battery?
