    LG 70UH6350 static and beep

    So this TV starts up fine, will play a video signal and looks good, sounds good.

    But a few minutes into it, the screen will go to pixelated static random pattern and a loud continous loud beep will play through the speakers. It will stay in this state for a few minutes and then turn itself off.

    I can then turn it back on and repeat the cycle. Has anyone seen something like this before? I finally replaced my multimeter (long story) so will be taking this apart to troubleshoot further, gotta be the main board though, right? At any rate any tips on specifically what to test would be great.

      so a bit of an update.

      Instead of playing video through the hdmi port I went and setup the netflix app built into the TV and played some there. It played flawlessly for a couple of hours before I turned it off. I'll try the hdmi ports again and see if I can get a video of it doing the static and then the beep. But the beep is loud and continuous like the emergency broadcast sorta beep at the same time the video changes to an odd pixelated sorta static.

      just never saw or heard anything like this.

          Hello,

          I've got a really strange issue with the speakers on my Philips 43PUS7506/12. It makes this awful loud buzzing now. It happened after it was attempted to be wall mounted - I think the back got squeezed and something broke.
          I thought maybe the speakers got damaged, so I replaced them - no dice.
          • Using the internal speakers, it always happens.
          • Using the headphone jack, it never happens.
          • Using the digital/optical out with a soundbar - it happens after about 2h/movie runtime - it's never as drastic, it just pops in and out, but I didn't want it to damage the sound bar

          The motherboard does not POST and has the following symptoms:
          When the power button is pressed, the fans and RGB turns on.
          When the power button is pressed, the motherboard voltages 12, 5, and 3 are connected.
          The motherboard does not beep.
          None of the diagnostic LEDs light up.
          USB voltage is off.
          VCORE voltage is off.
          The BIOS software was downloaded from Asus site and installed using the Q FLASH button, but it made no difference.
          I would appreciate it if anyone could guide me on the cause of the problem.

          I'm currently trying to diagnose and fix my Vizio TV (Model M50-C1). I've tried a number of different basic solutions, but I'm trying to determine if my issue is currently a failing panel, T-Con board, or main board (or something else entirely) and whether or not it is worth my time to fix it.           Hi everyone,

          Brought a non functionnal PS5. Apparently only a bad PSU...
          No beep, nothing.

          After some tests i found this :
          - PSU is fine (12 volts stable)
          - 12 volts line is shorted
          - DA9065 was fried, F7003 also => Replaced both of them, short is gone on 12 volts line, no dead short anywhere else.
          - By the way, nothing change. No signal, no power, no beep.

          Hello.
          Have this ps5 pro EDM033 that came with damaged hdmi connector. i replace it and console works for few days but show hdmi problems when cold start. so cold joint. reflowed connector and decoder ic as i think he have cold joint. but now i have only one beep and no start. can heatdamage of this decoder ic prevent start?
