    Bmax b2 plus

    Good afternoon people,

I have a problem on my hands that I can't find the problem.

I have a broken bmax b2plus that gives the logo the brand and does not enter the bios or boot to the OS. I already fixed the bios and it didn't fix it. I already have the original bios from the manufacturer and flashed it and it didn't fix it. Now I was trying to replace the bios chip with a new one but it is not working. What happens is that the original chip of the machine is the W25Q64FWSIQ and the one I am replacing is the W25Q64FWSIG, but with the W25Q64FWSIG the machine does not start nor the image (with the same file read from the W25Q64FWSIQ).

I've been looking at the datasheet and both chips are the same. Can anyone tell me why this new chip doesn't work on this machine?

I've already recorded both chips with the RT809H, TL866A, CH341A and with SVOD3 and it doesn't solve the problem.

do you have communication on the data lines from the bios chip?

works with an oscilloscope if you don't have one you can also use an LED

I don't have the equipment right now. But how do I test with a led?

What pins of the chip do I need to test on? On pin 2 and 5?

@Piernov how can I get this chip working? Just change Qe to 0 or 1 on the new chip? Or do I have to buy an exact same chip?
