HI, i have a 6050A3022501-MB-A01 (850 g6), that will not power on and i want to try re flash bios as suggested in the forum.

I have the CH341A programmer

will this programmer work ?
which bios should i use?
do i need to re flash both bios chips ?
should i take a backup ?
which program recommended to use ?
is there a general guide on how to backup and burn bios chip?

I know it is a lot of question, and i want to thank you from advanced

Always , always, always......
if you are not sure about your backup file post it here and wait for an answer before acting because CH341A is a programmer with poor reliability.

use RCUnlocher on the contents of the 16MB chip and then do what it says in the window ...

how did you get here ?? try this .. enter the bios and restore the security settings to the default values and restart the laptop..maybe it disappears from the errors ..

Do not interfere with the original bios, just flash this file.

use nbdmifit to close MPM, search for youtube videos how to do it . Most of the red error messages can be dealt with by using nbdmifit/HP Bios Config Utility . You do not need to ask for or flash another bios for those type of messages
