Hi,

i have a problem, i read my bios chip und it works but wenn i save the bin file it have only 1 MB... all bin files here in the forum are 10 or more MB... what make i wrong?

this copy is empty ... look on both sides of the motherboard and another bios chip, make a copy, check it with the HxD program, and post it here ..

i read the chip again, because i cant found a nother chip. I think the file is now not empty but ist still 1MB.

The chip on the laptop has the number : 25Q80DVSIG 1935
The Programmer detect: W25Q80BV Size 1MByte/8MBit

U can see this on my Pictures.

The chip on the laptop has the number : 25Q80DVSIG 1935
The Programmer detect: W25Q80BV Size 1MByte/8MBit

U can see this on my Pictures.

what model of motherboard do you have ?? .. look between the fan plug and the battery plug .... I think there is the bios chip, and it has 32MB ...

The motherboard is Wistron Bandon. I think the bios chip is a Winbond WSON 32MB

The chip on the laptop has the number : 25Q80DVSIG 1935

Winbond 25Q80DVSIG is an 8 Mbit chip = 1 MByte

i look between the fan und the Battery but here is no chip, can the chip mounted on the other side of the Board ?

It is on the other side,near the metal CPU bracket. It will say Winbond on it ,post the part number and a picture

i nearly dismount the hole Laptop ,

part number of the chips:

- SM7321 OV78M

- intersil 9538BHN9494E

Im not sure if this are Bios chips ;(

Your rar has compressed down to 741.6 KB its no good ,make another backup.The code is mostly all FF`s look at it with a hex editor or the hex window in your programmer

Have you desoldered the chip from the board,something is wrong as both backups are different.If you have soldered the chip to an adapter it is not making good contact or the chip is bad and its not reading the same every time.

if you`re using an adapter you don`t need to solder any wires ? ,post a picture,resolder the chip to the adapter

Are the wires not insulated from each other?

the wire is insulated but the GND is not connected i search an adapter and i give you good backup
